Justice Day will be different this year; same purpose, different face.
Saturday, NOVEMBER 5th, 2011 Kit Carson Park Amphitheatre 4-6pm Vendors, 6-9pm JD Worship Service
Justice Day was created to facilitate awareness that generates action. Justice Day core values involve the changing power of Jesus; the ultimate freedom fighter. So, through action coupled with love, we move onward in living color as freedom fighters.
Justice Day is not supported by a specific religion or church; it’s organized by a handful of volunteers who desire to be the change in our community. Our hope is to foster change, starting first with ourselves.
Is Justice Day a Christian event? Yes and No. We love Jesus, we love His people, and we believe the Bible is Truth. We understand that many people in the world are turned off by religion. As we see it, religion creates rules to control the masses. We aren’t trying to do that. However, we desire to see Jesus exemplified through our lives; showing the world that people who follow Jesus can work side-by-side with believers from all backgrounds to make a difference in our community. We can hide-out in four walls, or tear down the walls. We respect others and understand that other people respect us too. The important thing is working together for the love of humanity.
